The LMIRL Gambit is playing the game of mafia by looking for scum, and then convincing people to lynch them. The trick to the gambit is to be correct. It is named after LITERALLY_MAD_IRL, who has the frequent tendency to follow this gambit to its eventual success. To guard against that, many mods have begun to make him a survivor in every game he plays, making the gambit useless for him.

This gambit is widely espoused as the only successful gambit, and many people have yearned for games made up of only those who follow it.
