Daykill

Daykills are kills that happen during the day. Usually the only role that can do this is a day killing vigilante. These types of kills are rarely anonymous, and are normally preformed by town players. A daykill may also be preformed by the mod to deal with a player who has either broken the rules or is no longer posting; this is called a modkill.

Daykills are most often performed by typing ##kill Player publicly; if such a kill is legitimate, the thread is considered to be locked until the mod can return to post the flavor and flip. Sometimes the daykill will actually end the day, in lieu of an execution; check with your mod before firing.

Fake daykills are often considered against the rules, since they cause unnecessary panic and halt conversation, and are not fair to the would-be shot player.
