Day 1

Day 1 is the first day of the game after everyone has confirmed they've received their roles. Given there is usually no evidence to go on right out of the gate, it's usually begun by joke voting other players. There usually isn't hard evidence to end Day 1, and statistically more townies are executed than scum because of this. Some believe more information can be gained on Day 1 by the cardflip than the game play, others believe day 1 has enough information if you know what to look for.

Day 1s are typically more directed if there is a Night 0, but night 0s are uncommon and have their own set of issues as well.

Some players prefer to lurk during day one. Many people believe this to be a scumtell; however, depending on meta, the game's overall activity, and various other factors, it may or may not point to scum.
