Vote Stealer

A Vote Stealer (or commonly "Vote Nullifier") is a role which, as a night action, causes another player to lose their vote during the following game day. In some versions, the Stealer gains an additional vote in the process; this variation is typically called a Politician.

This role is an extremely dangerous role to give to a Mafia player; removing a townie's vote effectively advances the game half a day toward lylo, and if the scum Stealer gains an extra vote in the process, the game is advanced one complete day in the Mafia's favor.

It is often paired with other vote-based roles, such as a Double Voter. A townie Double Voter can help negate the concerns above regarding balance.
